Those tricky teens.....UGH! This product is designed to make you ,strong>LOVE teaching those tricky teen numbers.....and your students will love them too!
There are FOUR printable pages for each number 11 through 19, with the same format for skill acquisition through repetition. There are multiple approaches for applying number concepts for the teen numbers. Your students will learn how to:
✽ Write the teen numbers
✽ Identify and create ten-frames for teen numbers
✽ Represent teen numbers with tally marks
✽ The concept of "10 + ?" for each teen number
✽ Visual discrimination
✽ Model how many tens and ones for each teen number

These printables are great for teaching teen numbers as a whole group or for practice in a Math Center. This would also be a great activity to use for a substitute teacher!

Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
CCSSK.CC.B.4a
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
CCSSK.CC.B.4b
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
