This download contains 4 files. Two instructional videos that demonstrate how students can draw their name in a creative way and how they can draw their dream home setting using the tools in the Microsoft Paint program on the computer. Additionally, this download contains two sample point lists for assessing this assignment as well as some additional tips for success in completing these two assignments. Points have been assigned to different tasks of the assignment but can easily be adjusted for what you would like students to do.
Paint is a drawing program that is on just about every school PC. This activity is great to add to your lesson plans when you get computer lab time with your students. It gives students the chance to draw on the computer and offers them an opportunity to show off their creative skills. My students really have fun making these files in Paint and this assignment can easily be modified depending on student ability.
