These mazes are appropriate for Grades 4 and 5.
Here’s what’s included:
- 5 different mazes that address multiplication (The first two mazes focus on multiplication between single-digit and double-digit factors. The last three mazes focus on double-digit multiplication). - perfect for independent work, early finishers, or Math centres
- answer keys for teacher-checking and/or student-checking
- digital version (accessible with Google Slides)
Ultimately, these Multiplication Mazes can help students build their multiplication skills, in a fun and engaging way! Students can use the printable or digital version, which is great for in-person, virtual, or paperless settings.
Your students can even compare their maze routes to the answer keys provided, making it easy for them to check their work themselves. By self-checking their work, it helps them reflect on the areas they are doing well in and recognize where they made mistakes. Great for building independence and accountability!
Either version (printable or digital) can be used for independent work, Math centres, early finisher activities, or even at-home extension work.
And, if students are absent, you can send them the Google link so they can still participate in the class activity.
For the digital version, students just drag the coloured path pieces to cover the parts of the maze they want to shade in. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!
