Description

I use this video as part of my Forensic Anthropology Unit.  The evidence focuses on skeletal evidence - mainly bones and teeth.  This video is available for free on YouTube.   This no-prep lesson is ready to use for remote teaching or as an asynchronous assignment, and only requires making copies for in-person class.  Just be sure to add the YouTube link to the description in Google Classroom or other learning management system.

I usually show this video after students have learned about skulls and teeth.

My Skull Lab Assignment is excellent background before this video assignment.  https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Virtual-Skull-Lab-Comparing-Male-Female-Skulls-for-remote-or-in-person--6469035

This case is also discussed in chapter 17 of Death's Acre (The Not-So-Accidental Tourist). Available in my booklet 4 reading questions of Death's Acre OR my Death's Acre Bundle.

This product is a folder. It includes the video questions as a Google Doc, which is very easy to assign on Google Classroom. Since you will have your own copy of the Google Doc, this is editable, so you can add the YouTube link right into the document if you choose to.

This video is available on DVD (Forensic Files: The Best of Court TV) or on YouTube (Search: Forensic Files Madison Rutherford Past Lives)

This product includes:

1. The video questions

2. a lesson plan for both in-person and remote learning

3. an answer key for the video questions.

I have included both a Google Doc and a pdf for the video questions, and a pdf of the answer key. The pdfs are not editable.
