Designed to introduce the element of reading pitch on the staff and reinforce student's learning through creative graphic flash cards and guided in-class practice.
Even your youngest students can understand music notation with this easy to use power point. Magic Notes Level 1 focuses on the treble clef line notes. The powerpoint is divided into four sections: Direct Explanation, Group Flash Card Drill, Competitive Games, and In Class Guided written practice. Very interactive with lots of animations to capture student interest and keep it!
In the gaming section, when students answer correctly, click the mouse to activate a magic fish animation.
To be good music readers, there must be a sense of fluency with naming pitch.
