Description

Are you looking for a highly-engaging early-finisher or math center activity? Magic Squares is the perfect choice!

These 26 task cards will get your students thinking, working on their mental math, and testing answers.

Each task card has a Magic Number. There is a 3x3 grid below with some of the numbers filled in. Their job is to fill in the remaining squares so that every row, column, and the diagonal equal that Magic Number!

A blank recording page and answer key is included.

These are great challenges and provide lots of thinking opportunities for any of your students. There are even two blank cards at the end if students want to take on the challenge of creating their own!

For more fun ideas, be sure to check out my blog at 3rd Grade Thoughts.
