I love the picture support for my English Language Learners! Great mind map! Thank you for this great resource!
There are words that do not follow the closed syllable (short vowel sound) and open syllable (long vowel sound). The sound of the consonant changes for example: rag changes to rage (hard /g/ to /j/ sound). The sounds of the consonants should not change, it confuses students.
Good as introduction to the effect of adding the silent e to words.
Thank you!
Great product!
I like this way to help kids visualize. Thanks!
This is a great visual. My students with autism will enjoy filling out the map. We were doing some Magic E activities before break and the students enjoyed them. This will be a great followup after break. Thanks!
This is a great visual for students!
