Main Idea Easter or Spring Craft

Practice the main idea and learn about the differences between rabbits and hares! Students will love this rabbits craftivity to practice main idea and key details. First, students will read the mentor text called "Rabbit or Hare?". Then, students will determine the main idea and up to 3 key details from the text. Finally, they can complete the craft, cut, and color. It can also be printed on colored cardstock for an adorable bulletin board display. The mentor text is a nonfiction text about rabbits and hares. The level is appropriate for grades 3-5. Second graders may need help to read the text.
