I started teaching a mathematical modeling class a few years ago to seniors in high school. I was strapped for a variety of resources using functions other than linear or quadratic. This resource was great-- applicable and easy to follow. Thank you!
great, thanks!
I love pulling in real world applications into the classroom, and this resource does a very well rounded job of doing that. Thanks!
My students enjoyed using these materials.
This is a great practical activity for students. I really like the interpretation question at the end where students had to realize that a function may only be an accurate model over a certain interval. It was great seeing the realization of that idea in their eyes.
Excellent. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
