Make Your Own Hand Clocks
These clocks are easy to make and they are very helpful for children as they learn to read the analog clock. Using the hand helps them to remember to count by fives when they see the minute hand pointing at a number.

I liked the idea of using a pointer finger instead of arrows as it also made it more obvious for the children.
I hope you find these hands useful and that your students will enjoy using them.

I love the clock 'hands' - so clever. What a fun way to teach telling time! Thank you!!
You’re welcome. Enjoy!
A lovely resource and the hands works fantastically
Cute
Thanks. Enjoy!
This is adorable! I love the idea of using hands to show the five minute increments on a clock.
Thanks. I learned this at a Kim Sutton workshop years ago, so I adjusted it to work with my students.
So cute! I love how this really reinforces the need to be able to count by 5's and 1's in order to read a clock. Thank you!
You're welcome. Enjoy!
Fabulous! The last couple of years, most of my third graders have been coming in not knowing how to tell time. It's an incredibly essential life skill. Thank you!
You're welcome. I have found the same thing.
