Description
This book is an adorable snowman book that comes with an activity to do during or after the book has been read.
The book targets:
- phrase "put on"
- preposition "on"
- body parts: eyes, nose, mouth, arms
- clothing: boots, scarf, hat, buttons
- picture sequencing
This is a basic book created for beginning readers. I use this book with my students with special needs because they can feel successful reading the repetitive phrase paired with a pictured item/body part.
The activity needs a little bit of cutting out. The parts of the snowman can then be glued or laminated and Velcroed to the snowman template to then build the snowman described in the book.
