Description

Are you looking for a way to help your first-grade children practice making and reading a bar graph? These activity worksheets are perfect in a math center or for the Fast Finishers in your room. Some may even be a good homework review. All you need is to put some shapes from your math kit in a bag for your kids to sort.

There is a mat for sorting, and a blank graph for children to fill in. I have also included other pages with completed graphs for children to read and answer questions.

Finally, children will look at and count shapes on the page and then graph them. These are the ones best suited for homework, since using the actual shapes is not involved.

This resource covers the following standards: CCSS 1.MD.C.4; TEKS MA.1.8.B,C; VA SOL PS 1.12.a,b

This Resource Includes

• 9 assorted graphing worksheets

• 1 8.5 X 11” mat for sorting shapes

Additional Math Resources:

Make a Ten to Add & Subtract BUNDLE (this resource is in the BUNDLE)

Addition & Subtraction Anchor Charts

Addition With Connecting Cubes

No Prep Math Worksheets

Ice Cream Matching Center

Number Grid Puzzles

This is such a great test prep resource. My school takes MAP testing in March so I haven't even taught shapes yet - with this resource we are able to cover the very basics of shapes just in time for testing!
