"Most third grade students rely on subtracting and borrowing correctly to make change. I love that this packet focuses on counting up to the amount of money that we make change from using skip counting and counting on with coin values. "

Description

These 34 cards were designed to help your students make change by starting with the price of the purchase and then counting up to the amount given to the cashier. Seven of the cards are for items purchased that are under a dollar and a dollar bill was given to the cashier. Seven cards are for more expensive items and the cashier was given and 5 or 10 dollar bill.

Great value
I teach a class of 18 students who have developmental disabilities. In our Student Career Development class I just recently introduced this way of counting back change. The use of visuals makes such a difference. Do you have additional packets available? Possibly with problems using $20 bills. This has been a great resource. Thank you!
