Being able to determine the number of possible combinations from a group of items is a necessary for students studying probability. These eight activity sheets provide students with real-life situations (from ordering pizza to selecting outfits). Students must create the appropriate groups from the items given.

Each of the activities has a chart included to help the students record their answers. This is a great tool to help students build their confidence with this skill. Also included are open-ended questions that ask the students to write about the combinations that are created in the activity.
