Description

⭐⭐Now in Google Slides as well ⭐⭐

Your students will love this hands-on activity of making fossils in either clay or Play-doh. After fossils are made behind a folder (Shh, it's a secret), students attempt to identify the other groups' fossils and record their findings on a data sheet. Finally, the big reveal! Each group reveals what the object is that made their fossil. Students are delighted with this activity all while strengthening their scientific practice skills of observations, collecting data and analyzing results.

Excellent resource! I've used this resource this year and last year using different mediums. The clay was the easiest to use (I used playdoh the first year I did the lab). The clay I bought held the 'fossil' well and was easy to see.
