Description
This version of Making Generalizations helps students understand that generalizations should be true for most of the group, for most of the time. This simple activity allows students to read generalizations and decide whether they are true for the group or not. Then, the child colors the generalizations that are correct.
I use this with my third graders. You may find it appropriate for other grade levels depending on the child's reading ability, background knowledge, and skills already taught. This is why I put it at multiple grade levels.
Keep on the lookout for my making generalization packet where you will be able to purchase multiple making generations activities at a discounted price.
