Simple and adaptable tool to teach inferencing with middle- and high-school students. In my ninth grade classroom, I realized that my students needed a crucial intermediary step between reading the text and drawing a conclusion: questioning! This addition helped my students to make connections between themselves and the text, as well as to access their prior knowledge.
