Description

This is a differentiated & Common Core aligned mini-unit that reviews making inferences with upper elementary/middle school students! It also introduces the vocabulary terms "explicit" and "implicit" information. Students will analyze body language and setting in texts to make a reasonable inference about the context of the stories. To show their knowledge students will write & draw, making these activities engaging and fun! Partner texts & images are linked the teaching guide & will provide students with a variety of examples & practice opportunities.
