Description
These self-checking task cards for inferencing use ▚ QR codes ▞ to link to labeled camping PHOTOS showing the correct answers! The camp visuals take self-checking QR codes to a whole new level of engagement and support ELLs and visual learners. My energetic students love when I tape these task cards around the room to let them MOVE while making inferences! This activity is based on 4th grade ELA standards.
For this independent center, students read the task card clue, infer about the described camping item, and record their answer. Then, they check their answers by scanning the QR codes with any Smart device (they LOVE this part). A color photo appears to show the correct answer!
