This activity is a set of 10-word problems that allow students to practice utilizing proportional relationships to make predictions about a population given survey data from a representative sample.
The data is presented as exact numerical totals and percentages.
The answer for each word problem is hidden under the question number on the slides. Students may delete the question number to check their own work for accuracy.
This activity requires no preparation from the teacher. Just simply assign the google slides activity to your students and allow them to work through each activity.
