Met expectations
Great value
This was an easy, engaging way to introduce scientific observations. The slides and guided notes kept students focused, and the gummy candy activity made qualitative vs. quantitative observations really click. I loved that it filled an entire class period with meaningful practice and required no prep. My students were engaged and always love when lessons include food, and it set a strong foundation for science notebook skills early in the year.
