With the Making Text Connections Interactive Student Notebook pages, your students have access to the information on text-to-self, text-to-text, text-to-world, and text-to-media connections. This resource provides you with 3 student notebook options in black and white or full color to teach and/or review making text connections. You get no prep and low prep options that require simply printing or printing and cutting.

This resource will help your students refer to and remember four types of text connections:

Text-to-Self

Text-to-Text

Text-to-World

Text-to-Media

The making text connections resource allows you to have multiple options so your students can go to their reading notebooks at any time for a refresher on the different types of text connections and how to make deep connections instead of surface level connections. You can print student sized anchor charts that take no time to glue in student notebooks. Or, you can opt for the interactive notebook options. Option 1 has all components typed for your students. They just need to glue the pieces into their notebooks. Option 2 allows your students to write the information in their notebook. This is great if you want to change the wording a bit to best fit the needs of your classroom.

The Making Text Connections Interactive Notebook Pages come with a variety of features to fit the unique needs of your classroom:

Variety of Print Options: This resource comes with both color and black-and-white print options, catering to your printing preferences while still maintaining a visually appealing resource regardless of the printing options you choose.

Student Notebook Option: Empower your students to take charge of their learning journey by providing them with their own printable version of the anchor chart. These printables come two per page and can easily be glued into student notebooks so they have access to the anchor charts you’ve created all year long.

Interactive Notebook Options: The interactive notebook options give students the opportunity to create the anchor chart in their interactive notebooks.
