This graphic organizer is perfect for exploring new concepts with students. Students use the organizer to record three words about a teacher-directed concept. Then they generate two questions they have about that concept. Lastly, they write a simile about that concept. This organizer develops students' metacognitive skills, and provides an opportunity for the oral expression of their ideas.
