Description
Need something to help fill the last-week-before-summer schedule? Or perhaps you are looking for a creative way to review a unit? This product shows you how to set up cooperative groups that will create a game (not necessarily a board game) about a given topic, hold a game day and peer review, and quickly give group grades. Although I wrote it for math, this idea can be applied to any subject.
I love using this activity at the end of the school year because it gives the students an opportunity to release their creative energies in a unique and fun way. They are very motivated to make a quality game because they know their peers will be playing it and rating it!
Please leave your feedback and let me know what you think of it!

Great Resource
My 5th graders loved working on this. Used at the end of the year.
This was a hands-on experience that my students loved doing!
I took some parts of this resource and created my own version of it with some parts included, and it made for a great end of the year activity.
This was a great resource as I worked to find an engaging and fun activity for my math students!
Students liked doing this and making their own game
My students love using it in my classroom, and I use it in my small group.
This is a great resource. We used it as a review before the end of the year exam. The class played it after the exam as well.
This activity gives good guidelines to help students build a game. Nice project based learning activity
