I created some posters that define a physical, historical, and climate map. I also created posters defining a map legend, and a compass rose. There are also interactive/foldable notes included in this packet of things.

I used this resource by having a bunch of historical, climate, and physical maps displayed by its own slab of butcher paper. The students did a gallery walk to discover the differences and similarities between the maps.

Then we came back and went over our interactive notes.
