This spring bundle includes 6 sets of 2nd Grade Math task card sets that are no prep and easy to add to any math center. The task cards included in this bundle engage students in practicing adding and subtracting 10 and 100, 3 digit addition and subtraction, counting and comparing amounts of coins, measurement to the nearest inch, reading data from picture graphs and math stories with unknown parts.
These task cards are aligned to 2nd grade math standards and are easy to add to any math center or assign through Google to engage students in digital practice. These task cards are a great way to add variety to centers and allow students to practice past skills as well as ones they are currently learning in math.
Practice Skills in this Spring Bundle:
1. Add and Subtract 10 or 100: Students will solve equations to 1000 by adding or subtracting 10 or 100.
2. 3 Digit Addition and Subtraction to 1000: Students will solve 3 digit addition and subtraction equations and choose the correct answer from three options.
3. Counting Coins: Students will count two amounts of coins (quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies) and compare the amounts.
4. Measuring to the Nearest Inch: Students will use a ruler to measure objects to the nearest inch
5. Picture Graphs: Students will read data from a picture group and answer questions/word problems.
6. Unknowns in Word Problems: Students will read word problems with unknown parts and determine the missing amount.
Use these task cards in your classroom:
- Math Centers: add these task cards to your math routine for an engaging spring addition to your math centers. These task cards are easy to print or assign through Google!
- Distance Learning: Assigning this resource to be used remotely has never been easier! If students have access to their Google accounts at home, they can use this resource with the family or as extra practice at home.
- Independent Practice: allow students to use these task cards independently during their math block or morning work! They can solve problems on their own or work together with a partner. Each set includes an answer key, allowing students to self assess.
- Write the Room: Hang these task cards around your classroom and allow students to travel and solve each problem on their answer keys.
- Small Groups: Do you have students who could use a review? Use these task cards in your small groups when reviewing skills that students misunderstood. They are EASY for any guests who run small groups to use as well (parent volunteers and paraprofessionals will find using these to be a breeze!)
- Technology/Digital Center: These cards come with both a printable and digital version. The digital set is easy to assign on Google Slides and includes tech additions for easy usage for students.
