My students loved this activity. They were excited to come to class everyday to see which team would advance to the next round. The questions were geared towards reviewing standards in preparation for the state test. I assigned class periods to different teams so they were highly invested in the tournament. They also got to choose the overall winner. Highly engaging activity!
