Description

These centers are an amazing start to the day. I have students write in their agenda message, leave their agenda on their desk for me to sign and immediately go pick their soft start. It gives those students that might struggle to get their agenda finished, an incentive to get finished fast and then when we finish up our soft starts, they put their agendas away as part of that clean up.

These centers give students the chance to explore their interests, practice language skills and gives you a chance to run a small group, conference or assessment. I don’t let students go to the same "I can" station two days in a row and they also can not go to any of the centers with the same person twice in a row. This is the first year that I have attempted my literature centers like this, and am going to be tweaking them as we go. Please if you have any suggestions or feedback, I would love to hear. I have made September FREE so please check it out because I have used the same format for October, November, December, January and now March.
