These task cards can be used in the month of March and beyond! They include mini-paragraphs that each have an academic vocabulary word that can be understood based upon the context of the sentences. Included is a link for Google Slides copy that is easy to assign. The Printable file includes 2 versions of the same task cards. One copy has multiple choice options and the other version has a blank line for students to think critically to determine their own answer.
Some subjects in sentences cover St. Patrick's Day, Read Across America - Dr. Seuss Day, and other smaller holidays like Grammar Day.
You can use these on a white board for class wide lessons and reviews. You can also print them in order to practice and assess. Tape them around your room for an active, moving activity! Included in the file is a link for the digital Google Slides version for an easy online activity as well.
