About This Resource

I originally created these worksheets for my second-grade students as an introduction to CCSS.Math.Content.2.OA.C.4, which focuses on using addition to find the total number of objects arranged in rectangular arrays and writing equations with equal addends.

Because many students are capable of advanced mathematical thinking and frequently encounter higher-level questions on assessments such as MAP, I designed this resource with a built-in progression of rigor. The activities ensure students master foundational skills while also providing meaningful opportunities for enrichment and deeper mathematical reasoning.
