Description

Match It Mini is a fun and engaging way to practice phonics. There are 13 cards in each set. Each set has a target sound. There are four words on each card. Any pair of randomly chosen cards has a match. Students play in groups. They race to find matches and read them aloud. This way they practice the target sound. There are six different ways to play. There is a winner at the end of every game. Match It Mini works as part of group practice, literacy rotations, reading interventions, or take-home activities. Students can play independently after a basic introduction. Match It Mini is highly engaging and will substantially increase student interest. Students love it and will beg to keep playing.
