Description

Content: Solving equations in one variable. Problems include variables on both sides, rational equations, multiple distribution, and special cases (infinitely many and no solutions). There are 36 different problems in this set. Pairs of problems have the same solution.

This document can be used in multiple ways. I give each student a card to solve. They then must find the person with the same answer, switch cards with that person, and then solve their partners to check work. I then collect the cards and start over. The solutions are included in the notes section of the PDF.

*Tip* To save paper, select the option to print 6 slides per paper and print slides 2-37. You then only need 6 pieces of paper for a class set.

*For the worksheet for students to write on for this activity, see the free downloads in my store.
