Description

This MS Word file is a Math 2 Assessment / Practice Test for:

  • Unit 5 - Rational Exponents and Radical Equations

It consists of fourteen (14) questions. I used to use this document as my assessment for Unit 5 for my Math 2 classes. Since I now use an online program for all of my math assessments, I now use this document as a practice test the day before I give any related online assessment.

It is fourteen (14) pages in length, including the Teacher Answer Key, and can easily be completed during one class period. I have included the native MS Word file so that the teacher can edit/modify the assessment/practice test as desired to suit their unit content and teaching methods. The assessment/practice test covers the following topics:

  • Basic Vocabulary
  • Analysis of Radical Equation Transformations
  • Simplifying Rational Exponent Expressions
  • Converting Exponential Form to Radical Form and Vice Versa
  • Solving Radical Equations
  • Graphing Radical Equations
  • Radical Equation Word Problem

A solution answer key for the teacher is also included for each problem.

The other unit Math 2 assessments/practice tests that are companions to this unit are provided separately under my TpT page.

I also have over 300 highly animated and detailed, MS PowerPoint and MS Word slidepacks for 6th - 8th Grade General Math, Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and PreCalculus curriculum topics and these can be reviewed and purchased under my TpT page titled: "Priceless Math".
