Description

This bundle includes various instructional MS PowerPoint (PPT) slidepacks that I initially use when covering the Math 2 / Geometry content area titled: Unit 9 - Transformations. The following slidepacks are included in this bundle:

  • Geometric Translations
  • Geometric Reflections
  • Geometric Rotations
  • Geometric Dilations

The MS PPT resources noted above are highly animated slidepacks that are designed to keep the students alert and focused. They include detailed solution steps to assist the students in their understanding of the topic under review. Several example problems are included in the slidepacks for each type of transformation.

A more complete description of the topics covered in each of the PPT slidepacks listed above is provided with the individual slidepack included on my TpT page.

A total of 89 PPT slides are included in this bundle.

The price of this bundle of products is deeply discounted compared to purchasing them all individually.

Other MS PPT products for Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and PreCalculus curriculum topics can be reviewed and purchased under my TpT page titled: "Priceless Math".

Kathleena, Thank you for your feedback. I am very happy that the resources worked out for your students. I have taught a lot of EC math students myself and I am glad that the slide packs kept them focused and engaged. All the best in your teaching, Dave Price

Develop definitions of rotations, reflections, and translations in terms of angles, circles, perpendicular lines, parallel lines, and line segments.
Given a geometric figure and a rotation, reflection, or translation, draw the transformed figure using, e.g., graph paper, tracing paper, or geometry software. Specify a sequence of transformations that will carry a given figure onto another.
Use geometric descriptions of rigid motions to transform figures and to predict the effect of a given rigid motion on a given figure; given two figures, use the definition of congruence in terms of rigid motions to decide if they are congruent.
