Description

These 35 digital task cards on the BOOM Learning website involve students counting and filling in counting numbers, 0 - 50. Great fun for Kinder and First Grade students, Math centres and distance learning.

These 35 cards ask students to count and fill in missing numbers. There are tasks involving counting by 1, 2, 5 and 10. Counting is forwards and backwards from a given number, so numbers increase and decrease. Builds on understanding, as difficulty increases.

There is a number square (1-50) for students' reference.

Students type to fill in their answers.

Students need to succeed to progress through the levels.

  • First 7 cards count by one or two
  • Next 6 tasks count by ten
  • Next eight tasks use counting by five
  • Last 14 tasks revise all: 1, 2, 5 and 10: counting forwards and backwards.

These are digital task cards and would be great on a laptop, desktop, Chromebook, tablet, or any other mobile device that can access the internet. They can also be used on your Smart Board.

They are self-marking and allow you to track student progress: so no prep.

The resource includes:

  1. A link for you to access 35 Digital Task Cards, on the BOOM Learning℠ website. There is 1 card per slide.
  2. Some suggestions on how to use BOOM Cards™ in your classroom

The PREVIEW will take you to BOOMLEARNING for a trial of this deck.

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account.
