Description

These digital number tasks, are suitable Kindergarten and Grade 1 Math Centres.

These activities involve counting domino patterns, recognizing the number, writing numerals to match the quantities and making models to represent numbers, 0-10. The child can count the dots in the picture or recognize the patterns.

There are 38 slides:

  • matching images with numerals: connecting quantity with number
  • writing a numeral to match an image: number recognition
  • modelling to represent a numeral: exploring modelling increases understanding
  • There is a final writing task, for students to access and write about what they know.

They are Google slides, so students will need to access internet to complete tasks.

This is a great unit for classroom and distance learning.

These are digital task cards and would be great on a laptop, desktop, Chromebook, tablet, or any other mobile device that can access the internet. They can also be used on your Smart Board.
