Description

Young students need the opportunity to get up and move around the classroom. These learning activities give them the chance to do that! You can use these as a math warm up or math centre.

Hang the cards around your classroom (or in the hallway if allowed). Give each student a clipboard and a recording sheet. Have students walk around the classroom, looking for the cards and filling in their answers on their recording sheets.

So far there are six math activities included: subitizing to 10, teen numbers, tens partners, doubles to 20, comparing numbers to 20 (greater than and less than), and one more and one less to 20. If I create any more math activities (which I probably will), they will be added to this bundle. The bundle will increase in price each time a unit is added, but if you have already purchased the bundle, you will get any new units for free!

Keyword: math centres, math centers, guided math
