Returning assessments is an opportunity to differentiate instruction and reduce math anxiety! This math assessment reflection builds confidence and growth mindset.
Use the scoring rubric provided, then hand out the reflection and scored tests or quizzes. Give students time and support re-solving two problems.
This reflection can be a whole group activity or a great centers activity. Provide blocks or other manipulatives to help students solve problems they missed independently, in small groups, or with teacher help.
