Math Baking and Restaurant gets children excited about practicing their time and money skills. It also covers addition and subtraction.

The activity pack includes three methods of play:

1) "Baking" a recipe - this includes using addition or subtraction to calculate the oven temperature adjustment and the completion time for the recipe. Children will select a recipe card and a scenario card. They will use this information to calculate the oven temperature and completion time. With 20 different recipe cards (and additional blank cards for you to complete) and 24 different scenario cards (and additional blank cards) the practice options are numerous.

2) Running the Restaurant - Students draw a customer order card. They calculate the total for the order (using the provided price sheet) and give appropriate change (play printable money provided). 24 different order cards are provided (plus additional blank cards you can complete).

3) Add more hands-on fun or engage younger learners by using the play food printables to fill the order on the order card.

Also includes printables for name tags, a cash register, clock and more!

Great for math centers or cooperative, group learning.

Can also be completed as an independent activity.
