Math Behavior Chart--Group Points
Share

Description

This is a great way to keep students motivated and focused in the classroom. Next to each line of perfect squares simply place a clothespin line and attach colored clothespins to represent each group. Starting at the bottom (1) the students climb each perfect square as a reward (whole group has completed homework, working together well, etc.). The clothespins can be moved down as well due to poor behavior.

When a group reaches the top they win a prize (homework pass, pretzel pass, etc.)! I use this in my 8th grade math class where perfect squares are a standard related to square roots, rational numbers, etc. Enjoy!

I used the schools poster maker to enlarge!
