Description
This bundle contains four math products focusing on two digit addition, place value, money, and time. Activities are hands on and can be adapted to your students' needs with the provided blank cards.
*Two Digit Addition*
Your students will have fun strengthening their addition skills with these two hands on activities. Provide base ten blocks to help your class with the adding of the numbers and dry erase markers and they're all set!
Two Digit Addition with or without regrouping Students select number cards and then use base ten blocks on the mat to add the numbers up.
Two Digit Addition Task Cards Place task cards around the room for kids to find and add. I like to put base ten blocks near the task cards just in case.
*Money*
Learning about money is always a thrill for students! Your class will enjoy shopping for a picnic or camping trip by using money to "purchase" supplies. I prefer using real money over plastic but either type will work just fine.
Great for centers too!
Picnic Fun Players take turns selecting a card and use coins to represent the amount on each card. They must watch out for the "fun " cards though!
Let's Go Camping! Roll, Say, Keep Students roll the die and uncover the card on their mat that matches the number rolled. Then they use coins to represent the amount shown on the card. If they are correct, they keep the card. They must watch out for the
*Place Value Fun!*
Your students will enjoy learning about place value with these four interactive activities! Whether your kids are matching the place value cards, clipping the cards, or roaming the room for task cards, your class is sure to have a good time practicing place value!
Place Value Clip Cards Students love clipping the clothespins to the cards! Glue the small pictures provided to the clothespins for added fun!
cover/direction sheet
Place Value Task Cards Students like to get up and move around! Place the task cards around the room and have the kids find them!
*Time*
This product focuses on telling time to the hour, half hour, and quarter hour, time estimation, and a.m. or p.m. There are three activities that can be used as either center work or part of your lessons.
It's Time- telling time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour Students select a card and use play dough or dry erase markers to represent the time shown on the card on the clock. They must watch out for the "fun" cards though!
How Long Will it Take? 1 second, 1 minute, or 1 hour Students take turns selecting a card and determine about how long it will take to complete the activity on the card. Then, they place it on the sorting mat. Watch out for the "fun" cards!
A.M. or P.M. Students use clothespins to clip the correct time of day.
Enjoy!
