Description

These 10 Number Loops are a fun and challenging activity for your high achievers. Students will work their way around the loops solving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems (all 4 operations) as they go. But they must calculate carefully. The challenge is to solve all the problems correctly so that their last answer lands them back at the START number. These number loops are a great way for kids to attend to precision and to improve their math skills. They will keep your kids busy for hours!

FREEBIE ALSO INCLUDED: A blank number loop template for kids to "Make Their Own Number Loop"

These number loops include problems with:

  • 2- and 3-digit addition and subtraction
  • multi-digit multiplication
  • 1- and 2-digit division

For addition and subtraction practice only, check out my other set of Number Loops:

⭐Number Loops Addition and Subtraction

TWO FORMATS

  1. Half-page Booklet - Print the pages 2-sided and assemble them into a half-page booklet using just 3 pieces of paper. Students color "buttons" on the front cover to keep track of the number loops they solve successfully.
  2. Task Cards with Recording Sheets

You choose the format that works best for your classroom.

These Number Loop challenges can be used in many ways. A few suggestions:

  • Math Centers
