Differentiation can be tough when you are needing to challenge a student that already knows the topic in math. I keep these sheets handy so I can fill one out if a student or group of students have already shown mastery of a topic. I ask that they take notes on their own (not at the pace of my instruction) and complete the Independent Practice assignment that the rest of the class would do at the end of the lesson. Once they are confident that they know the topic, they move on to an enrichment activity. Their homework is then a challenge version of the regular assignment.
