- Page 1 - Arrange missing addend equations that could help you solve a subtraction equation
- Page 2 - Show the missing addend using cubes
- Page 3 - Construct a missing addend equation and the subtraction equation it could make. Solve
- Page 4 - Match the addition equation to the subtraction equation it helps solve
- Page 5 - Match the missing part of the equation
- Page 6 - Relate a missing addend to a subtraction difference using ten frames
- Page 7 - Write the addition equation that helps solve subtraction
- Page 8 - Solve two equations that have the same whole part. Compare the missing addend and difference
- Page 9 - Solve a missing addend equation to help solve a subtraction equation. Explain how to solve this using a picture
I use this in my 1st grade classroom to provide a challenge for my advanced students to check off their proficiency-based grading, while also providing practice opportunities for my struggling students to succeed.
