My students enjoyed completing and coloring their part. Then they were able to put them together and see what picture it was.
I have loved using these at the beginning of the semester as an ice-breaker activity, and for review at the end of a unit. The collaborative nature of the activity helps students work together and check each other’s work. They also really enjoy figuring out the picture. A very creative and unique activity. It helps me decorate my room while supporting classroom culture and community.

I LOVE these coloring group challenges. The four different sheets in each activity have both different questions and different designs, so students can't just copy off each other -- however, problems are similar in nature so they are able to help each other when they figure out a question type.
I have used several different activities from this bundle with students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Each class enjoys doing them. The design isn't obvious at first glance -- students really do have to solve the problems and color to see even an inkling of the design. This ensures students actually do the work to solve the problem instead of guessing what the picture is.
I highly recommend these group challenge coloring activities. Calling them "worksheets" is a bit of a disservice to these resources -- they are so much more engaging than what I consider a worksheet. I use these to review concepts at the end of a unit or as review for the year. I will definitely continue using them in future years -- they are high-quality and engaging!
My students loved that the final outcome was a mystery. Unlike other coloring worksheets, they kept guessing until the end. I also loved the collaborative nature of the activities, and the difficulty was just right.
Students really enjoyed working with this material.
I left this activity with a sub. The kids were actively engaged and said it was the best activity they've done this year.
