We spent a whole unit on this and it still wasn't enough! Anyone have to make number combinations to ten in their math curriculum? Anyone have to teach number bonds or how to use ten frames or how to write an equation? I made this resource because I needed my kinders to understand and be able to not only make combinations of numbers but to understand these math tools and how to use them.

I will say, after implementing this product, my kinders became little experts! I used connecting cubes to teach combinations. If the number was 7, they received 7 yellow cubes and 7 blue cubes (my rule was they could only use two colors). Teaching it that way seemed less confusing and we stayed with the two colors only rule for the entire unit!

I hope this is beneficial! I needed it to supplement my curriculum so I'm hoping someone else might need it as well!

Enjoy!
