This resource includes a constructed response task and task-specific rubric for each 5th grade common core math standard.

These 5th grade math tasks are perfect for assessments, test prep, preparing your students for PARCC, and standards-based grading.
There are TWO rubrics provided:
1.) Student Rubric: Use this to allow the students to self-assess and ensure they have answered or included all components of the task.
2.) Teacher Rubric: Use this to assess the students. The answer key is embedded within this rubric, do not give it to the students to self-assess.
Data tracking sheets are also included. One to track the students’ scores and performance on one page per student and one to track the entire class’s progress on one page.
The math tasks are divided by domain so click on the domain specific pdf and then use the table of contents to find the standard you are assessing.
