This differentiated Sidewalk Chalk Math: Perimeter of 2D shapes mini unit is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for grades 2, 3, and 4. The lesson plan engages students in a fun and interesting way (using sidewalk chalk, a measurement tool, and familiar 2D shapes to draw, measure, and calculate perimeter for shapes by working as part of a collaborative grouping.)
