Students of all ages can use one of these 4-tiered math discussion cards to help problem solve. Whether in kindergarten or 8th grade, when students experience productive struggle sometimes they simple need to be taught how to begin or how to persevere along the way. These cards provide students with a "before" "while" and "after" I solve a problem approach. Keep these cards handy and have students utilize them daily. Before you know it, the concepts will be ingrained and their math skills will increase tremendously.
