You receive three versions of each resource: Google Slides, PowerPoint and PDFs. These resource can be printed using the PDFs or, students can complete this digitally by typing their answers directly on the Google Slides or PowerPoint document.
Growing Bundle of Math Enrichment:
This is a growing bundle, or progressive bundle, of math enrichment products focusing primarily on logic puzzles. The earlier you purchase, the cheaper the cost. Who doesn't love a great deal! As I add products, the price will continue to rise accordingly. These products span various grade ranges making it ideal for use when differentiating for your top learners and struggling students.
Ideas on How to Use the Math Products Within the Classroom:
1) Print each packet off and use the worksheets in the following ways (Students write directly on each worksheet):
A) Enrichment for High Achievers and Gifted Students - Use as enrichment
addition, subtraction and multiplication with decimals to the hundredths and whole numbers for students who have already mastered these skills.
B) Remediation for Emerging Learners - The below grade packets do not list which grade they are designed for making them ideal to give to your struggling students. These will still be challenging due to the naturally complex nature of a logic puzzle-yet not overwhelming.
C) Early Finishers - Give a sheet, starting with #1, to kids who finish their work early.
2) Print off this packet, laminate the pages, and use in the following ways (students write on the provided Student Answer Sheets).
A) Bell Work - Post a laminated page on the board for students to complete each
morning (or show the PDF on an electronic display like a SmartBoard, computer or iPad).
B) Math Center Class Challenge - Place each laminated packet in your math center and students complete as many as possible. Post the top 10 students on your Brag Board. I recommend putting each level (easy, medium, hard, champion) on a metal ring so they don't get mixed up or lost.
